For the other types of visas issued by the Kingdom, such as Saudi family visit visa, Saudi business visit visa and Saudi work visas, you could check the Saudi visa status online through your passport number. In this article, we guide you through the steps of checking your Saudi Arabia visa status online, after you have submitted all the requisite documents and paid the visa fee through the proper channels.
What Will You Need to Check Saudi Arabia Visa Status Online
Checking the status of your Saudi visa online is an easy procedure, provided you have all the right information at your disposal. The information required may depend upon the channel or website through which you decide to search. For instance, if you wish to go through the Enjazit Online portal to check your online visa validity status, all you need is your passport number. Along with that, you will also be asked to provide:
- Visa application number
- Arrival destination
If you decide to check your Saudi visa status on the MOFA portal, you will need to provide your National Identity number as well as the above mentioned information. This can be your residence number or your Iqama number.
Checking the Saudi Arabia Visa Status Online Through Passport Number
Application for Saudi Arabian e-visas and other types of visas online requires registration on the Enjazit website, which acts as a link between the applicants and the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). You could check the online status on your visa on the Enjazit website too.
Step 1: Log in to the Enjazit website and click on “Individuals.” You may have to translate the page from Arabic to English.
Step 2: Select “Search for a submitted application” from the list of services in the next page
Step 3: The next page will show you five boxes, which you will be required to fill with the right information. This includes your passport number, visa type, arrival destination, current nationality and the randomly generated image icon. After entering these details, click on “Perform the Search.”
The system will show your visa status on the next page. If your visa has been issued, you will be able to see the corresponding details, such as date of issuance and expiry date. However, you could also see an error message, in case your visa has not yet been stamped by the officials yet.
Checking Visa Status on the MOFA Website
Whilst checking Saudi visa status through the Enjazit portal is simple, it is not the only recourse. You can check your visa validity status on the MOFA website as well. This is a useful way to check your Saudi visa status online, if you are already in the KSA. Just follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Go to the MOFA website and scroll down to the “Enquiry” section.
Step 2: In the box titled “searching for,” select “an application submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.” If your visa has already been issued, you can select “visa issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
Step 3: If you select “an application submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” you will be asked to provide information such as the order number, record number and then to fill in the image icon.
The order number is your application number and the record number is your national residence number or your Iqama number. If you choose the “visa issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs” option in the search category, you will be asked to provide your visa number, instead of the order number.
Proceed to click on “Inquire.”
If your visa has not yet been issued or has expired, the system will show you an error message in Arabic. In case your visa has been issued or is still valid, you will be able to see all the details, including nationality, requester name, issue date and expiry date.
The process to check the status of your Saud Arabian visa is not difficult. It is important to keep a check on your Saudi visa status, especially the expiry date, so that you can either renew/extend it or leave the Kingdom before the visa expires. Saudi Arabia follows strict visa rules and offenders might face prosecution.
