When a Saudi company invites you for business, they send a letter of invitation from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). It is in Arabic, with a barcode in the top-left corner, and it holds the details you need to complete your employer support letter and apply for your visa. Here is how to read it yourself in a few minutes.

What the MOFA invitation is
It is the official approval from the Saudi government that a registered company is inviting you. Your visa cannot proceed without it. Every invitation carries a visa document number (above the barcode) and a second reference number. Those two numbers unlock the full details online.
How to decode it, step by step
- Go to visa.mofa.gov.sa and translate the page to English (right-click and choose Translate, or use your browser’s translate button).
- In the dropdown, select “Visa Document Number”.
- Enter the number printed above the barcode in the first field.
- Enter the second number, as shown on your invitation, in the second field.
- Enter the captcha code and press the purple button.
- Your invitation details appear. Translate the page to English to read them.
What to do with the details
Use the information (your name, passport number, job title, invitation number, visa type and number of entries) to complete your employer support letter using our template. Then send it to us for a free pre-check before anything is submitted.
Can’t get it to work?
No problem. Email your invitation to us at applications@rapid-visas.co.uk and we will translate it and pull the details for you. Decoding the invite correctly is the first step. Getting the support letter right is where most applications succeed or stall, so we check both.

Saudi visas may be available directly through an official Saudi government portal for a lower fee or, where applicable, free of charge. Our fees are separate and are for private administrative assistance, document checking, application support and consultancy services.
